  17. Jot is a Windows text editor containing many common features you've seen in 
  18. other full-blown text editing programs, such as print preview. It is easy to 
  19. use and runs quickly and gracefully. Edit multiple files. Use the clip box 
  20. feature to store frequently used pieces of text. Run highlighted programs and 
  21. dial telephone numbers from within a document. Use the program's calculator 
  22. for quick computations. The context-sensitive help is enough to get you up 
  23. and running quickly. This version is a minor update, and now includes a 
  24. spell checker.  Shareware $14.95.  Shareware.  Version 1.4.

  31. To install Jot:

  33. 1.  Insert the Jot diskette in your floppy drive (A or B).
  34. 2.  From the Windows Program Manager, choose File/Run...
  35. A.  Type A:\INSTALL (or B:\INSTALL) and press OK to install Jot.

  37. The installation program will display this readme file containing the license 
  38. agreement.  Read the license agreement carefully.

  43. Jot is shareware. Try before you buy software. If you would like to
  44. continue to use Jot after the 30 day evaluation period you must register
  45. your copy. To register, fill out the form in the file form.txt or the help 
  46. file and send it to Brandon Fridley. Registering will remove the notice at 
  47. the ending of Jot. You also will receive the latest version of Jot, and will 
  48. be entitled to technical support.

  50. A limited license is granted to copy and distribute Jot for trial use,
  51. subject to the following conditions:

  111. ADMINISTRATORS, HEIRS AND ASSIGNS.  ANY ACTION OR PROCEEDING BROUGHT 
  112. BY EITHER PARTY AGAINST THE OTHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS 
  113. AGREEMENT SHALL BE BROUGHT ONLY IN A STATE OR FEDERAL COURT OF 
  114. COMPETENT JURISDICTION LOCATED IN CLARK COUNTY, WASHINGTON, U.S.A.  
  115. THE PARTIES HEREBY CONSENT TO IN PERSONAL JURISDICTION OF SAID COURTS.
